LEGAL & SAFETY
Marketplace policies
Terms of use
PRIVATELYWORN is being prepared for launch, but the final legally binding marketplace terms are not yet in force. Launch requires professionally drafted terms covering marketplace status, buyer/seller obligations, cancellations, refunds, dispute handling, fees, prohibited conduct and limitation of liability.
Privacy
Before launch, PRIVATELYWORN must publish a final privacy notice covering necessary personal data, retention periods, user data rights, security and the relevant processor arrangements for hosting, payments, age verification and analytics.
Seller rules
- Sellers must be 18+ and pass age/identity verification before publishing listings.
- Listings must accurately describe the item, size, condition and any relevant hygiene information, including the structured residue disclosure where applicable.
- Adult, non-explicit seller-modelled listing images may be submitted for moderation. Explicit sexual acts, visible genital content and third-party people are not supported in listing imagery; face blurring or cropping is a privacy choice and never substitutes for seller verification.
- No personal contact details, off-platform payment requests or attempts to evade moderation.
- No illegal goods, standalone bodily-fluid sales, dangerous contamination, coercive content, or material involving minors. A worn garment may carry seller-declared bodily-fluid residue where permitted by the final launch rules; that disclosure is seller-supplied and is not independently tested or guaranteed by PRIVATELYWORN.
- Use plain outer packaging and protect buyer privacy on shipping labels where legally possible.
- Every marketplace order must use a tracked delivery service. A carrier and tracking reference are required before an order can be marked dispatched.
- Sellers must retain proof of posting and cooperate with lost/damaged parcel investigations and carrier compensation claims.
Reviews
Reviews should be available only after a completed transaction and should be moderated for abuse, personal information and manipulation.
Support, lost items & refunds
Buyers can raise a delivery dispute against a tracked order when an item has not arrived. The intended workflow checks carrier tracking and evidence of delivery, allows seller/carrier investigation, and records any approved refund before money is returned through the supported payment provider. Final launch terms will define claim windows, evidence requirements, exceptions and refund timing.
